I?ve Waited a Year for this Anniversary

It's good to share this anniversary with you, sticking to it! Today, I have completed my first year of being smoke free! This time last year I was pumping my lungs full of as much tobacco that my body would cope with. The anxiety was high, I knew it was my last chance, but guess what I did it. It is possible for everyone, so if your reading this and wondering, go for it. Love Viv Xxx

Congrats to VIV - 1 YEAR Today!!!

Well guys, I'm now in tears to note your comments. I feel very emotional about this. Never thought I could manage it, but I have. The support of you all has helped me so much, thanks for giving me the confidence and support to continue. Some times were really tough, but thankfully there was no going back.. I so longed to get to a stage when my days were not consumed in thinking about smoking. Each day that demon appears, yet now he evaporates within the minute! So hears to the future. My reward for this year is a table for two on Sat night at a superb Michelin star restaurant on the north coast! I will raise my glass to you all.......Bonne Sante! Love Viv Xxxxx N.O.P.E

Three years Jan 21st

I just had to stop by and make contact. I completed three years smoke free yesterday, so I'm now in my fourth year! What a roller coaster in the beginning but with the support gained here I made it! I found the support offerd to me really helped In those desperate early days. I used to wonder why on earth people who had conquered their smoking would remain here, giving advice to others for years after they themselves had stopped. It's only now that I understand the power of the addiction. It still confronts me most days but it's soon put in its place. I never could have done this without the help I got here . So many thanks to Lolly, Red, Impalmania, Breather & loads of great imaginative names from around the world. Of course the various health advisors too. Thank you I will be eternally grateful! Four years today!

How time flies! I can hardly believe that I have been free for 4years. I was 20 a day (at least) everyday for 51 years! Yet I did it! and guess what life became less stressful for me as I no longer worried about how I was damaging my health! So to anyone reading this who's interested, do give it a go it's surprising what we can do! I'm going to a Michelin star Restaurant tomorrow to celebrate!
