Day 2

Missjkh, You have some good advice here, well done to you to be so carefully planning & preparing for your quit. With such determination you can beat this. I so remember that feeling prior to quitting, when every cig tasted awful and, hurt my chest, yet I kept going back for more. By the time I got to my quit day, it was a relief to be able to say NO MORE! Keep on with your prep. Viv

VIV Cruised Past 100 DAYS!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the attention. I was very happy to reach that milestone. Have to admit that I am not planning my rewards. Now that I think of it maybe that's where I'm going wrong. I still have some fairly difficult days and should have some rewards planned to change the focus of my attention. So thanks again for putting me on the right track. Despite this I did enjoy my achievement of 100 days. Your support was paramount in my achievement I will not be smoking today. Viv

Things to do when you're having a tough day

Enjoyed reading this. Funny how sometimes we need permission to stop and rest and guilt is such a useless emotion. I will be doing more relaxing and deep breathing . today. Out in the garden and walking alongside the lake. Viv

Another day (3)

Morning, I too will be focusing today, no time for negative thoughts. Why would I deliberately choose to make myself miserable! Bank holiday for me so off out for an hour then back home to continue work in the garden. The sun is shining its great to take advantage. Have a positive day. Viv N.O.P.E

Spring

Dear Sly I feel like you. I scrubbed my patio furniture down last week, then oiled it. Very pleased as its looking good. However, I used to love sitting in the sun with a glass of wine and .......you know what! So now I am declining to sit there and carry on gardening instead. I will get over this, just need to start relishing the return of my sense of smell. I have noticed that I am picking up smells more than I did before. So I will try to take pleasure in that.
