Welcome Commit2me!
It sure sounds like you are on the right track!
I am a cold-turkey quitter! It is rough those first 3 days. I was shakey, tired, hungry and spaced out! (I'm still a bit spacey, but hey, I think its growing on me) It felt like I had a craving that lasted all day. However, I came here. I looked at old posts, read and read some more. It truely helps. So does water!!! Keep your supply up. You will need them for a long time to come!
I do remember the day before my quit date. I think I smoked 1 pack of cigs in 3 hours! Oh boy, that is gross..............
I decided on about the 6th day that this is what I wanted. I do not miss anything to do with smoking. Before that time, I did feel like I had lost something. I now know what that was. I miss it NO MORE!!! I have accepted that I will never smoke again. I will keep fighting to not smoke........
You can do it! You are already on your way. Congrats on your life changing decision! Please post often. We would love to be by your side on your journey!
