Oh what an adventure you have ahead of you! Hang on for dear life - this is quite a ride. Despite your fear and ambivalence (we all had that) and the misery of the first days of withdrawal (I thought I was losin ma mind!), this is doable. Once you have tasted freedom, you will wonder what took you so dang long.
Try to embrace each day, each crave, each yucky withdrawal sysmptom as a sign that your body is healing from the addiction. Stay very close here and whine as much as you like. This place, these wonderful people made all the difference for me.
Best wishes. I will think of you all day today. - Carole
