Congrats on the month. I have a bunch of cinnamon (sugar free) mints and a case of bottled water in the fridge. I lost 10 lbs before .... so I told myslef when I was close to my "ideal" weight I would start my quit again..... I would like to lose another 5.. putting that on the back burner... my quit date is set for the 11th.. but I have cut back by more than half.. on the chantix... and today I start 2 tabs a day.... only been on it since Sunday. Goood luck keep up the great work. Skittles, skittles, and skittles, and more skittles. Three pounds later and here I am. Oh well, better chubby and non smoking than skinny and dying. Try keeping a can of Altoides around there is something about that strong mint that helps the craves, lets face it there is nothing we can put in our mouth that can take the place of a cigarette no matter how hard we try,i would be so full i felt like i was gonna pop and still eat trying to satisfy that void, the mint helped and i wasent over eating :) just a thought Tresa My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 2007 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 40,140 Amount Saved: $7,024.50 Life Gained: Days: 286 Hrs: 21 Mins: 43 Seconds: 15

Den and Deck, Hi to you.... I have the same problem now with the fridge and the fizzy drinks and the food delivery.... I keep hoping that I'll get a bad case of heartburn to make me stop wandering around in the kitchen when I should be meditating in my chair, by the snowy window, with the TV and remote in eye and hand, and the plums from Chile on the table and the mints from Denmark and the bowls of redskin peanuts... mein Gott, where do these addictions end...?
