Had 4 episodes tonight where i wanted to smoke, didn't, but wanted to. I was able to look at them and what i was doing and notice that it was times when i would normally smoke. They were brief moments, but there nonetheless. Also all week been having very vivid "real" dreams/ nightmares just wondering if this is normal? Or if anyone else has experienced this. Cigarettes Not Smoked

On the Seventh Day... she rested. Morning of Day 7. drinking coffee and at my computer with no cravings. Seems kinda cool, but i am not taking it for granted. One thing i was wondering, i have not started coughing up stuff yet (sorry for the detail), or even coughing for that matter. Is this normal, i am just looking for some feeling (physical) that i have quit. Maybe i am missing some. Any ideas or thoughts? don't know what i am going to do for my reward today...hmmmmm. Cigarettes Not Smoked

HA! Well 1:55pm and i have managed to keep busy all morning with just a couple of cravings. So that is good. Only had one morning coffee as planned so i think that helped. Plus just staying busy. Tonight will be another trying time, but i am prepared and ready. Today is Day 6. Okay, so, tomorrow i will have my one coffee and stay busy, we are having company so i have to clean the house, that will keep me busy for awhile. Tresa - you are probably right about the coffee eventually tasting better. I am also a diet coke addict! I have been limiting myself to one a day since i quit and actually now i am finding it tastes like poop! I always loved the taste - will it always taste this way now? It will save me even more money if it does! There is one positive!! Sparky - I have my home group tomorrow night - no meeting are smoking - but there is the smoking outside before and after - i plan on getting there just before it starts and leaving right after. A change for me for sure.I have not applied the first 3 steps as yet - you are right that would probably help get my mind of this quitting thing and not dwell on the fact that i can't have a cigarette. By the way, good suggestion - reorganizing my closet - how did you know?! ;p Kristi - great idea about the walk in the morning but i start at 7:00am and get up and get ready at 6:00am - not quite willing to walk before that! Although next week after work i am heading back to the gym to burn off some rage, depression and just pent up feelings (hopefully cravings and nicotine too!) Sue - you are right, i am giving myself an awesome gift, although sometimes i wish i kept the receipt so i could return it! ;p Thanks all for the suggestions and support, it really does calm me down and help me out!!
