Wow JenMc,

I guess that maybe it was a good thing that you tried one and learned that you will feel sick from smoking. Perhaps the memory of that nasty feeling will keep you from slipping again.

Here's to hanging on to your quit.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Well, I had an anxiety problem this morning before work n went n bought a pack of smokes. I got sick as hell when I smoked one. I was sick for almost 3 hours! That pretty much told me and my body that I am done smoking. I threw them n the glove box this morning and all the way home I didn't even think about em. I just remembered they were n there. So I think I'm passed the worst of it and my body told me today that I'm done. Not bad. It only took 4 days. Today makes 5 days. I think I'll be ok now :)

Jen - I have a lot of days like that. I focus on getting home, getting comfortable and putting on my PJs. Then I don't want to leave my nice warm apartment to buy cigarettes, much less have to stand outside to smoke (can't do it indoors). I think the cold weather and snow helps. Any kind of trick to keep you from buying cigarettes is a good one. :)
