Hi, newbies! I'm Unhooked & I agree with my buddy, Bear, except for the part about "a little commitment."
It takes a LOT of commitment. You have to want to quit more than you want to smoke, that is the first step. You have to also acknowledge that you are an addict & you can never again have even one puff.
The next is preparation & that's where this site comes in. If you make the commitment, work through the program here, read the posts, and ask for help when you need it, you WILL be successful. And then maybe you will come here on your 180th day & tell some newbies how it's done!
