shutterbug Hang in there, this is not any easy process, but it is so worth it. Eventually, you will get to the point where the need does not weigh on your mind every waking hour. It will become more like a choice and less like trying to resist some obsession. Its hard to describe, but as you move forward, you will find that the thought of smoking is just that...Its a thought, like any other, that you can engage or banish...I know right now that seems like a lot of trash, but its true...The longer you remain free of smoking, the greater control you gain over the addiction...Stay well and strong... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 213 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,390 Amount Saved: $1,491.00 Life Gained: Days: 38 Hrs: 23 Mins: 23 Seconds: 19

Hello everyone, thanks for your kind words. It really helps. Bought dum dum lollipops, so I'm sitting here sucking on a lollipop and drinking my fourth cup of coffee, butterscotch pop, not bad. I know YUK! not really. Smoke free, no headache and NO craving. The Chantix is working. Now my husband does not smoke around me, not even in the car. So this weekend if it doesn't rain I'm going to detail it myself. Just one more thing to keep me busy. Spending a little more time in the studio too, which helps quite a bit. Hope all of you are doing well on your journey to quitting. Finding this site has been great for me. Thanks again, talk to you all soon. Hang on and Hang in. Haven't been on, we had a death in the family. By the time we got home I was so tired just wanted to relax. BUT, I was good, no cigs and not one single puff. However! I did manage to eat some food I shouldn't and now I have a headache. Going to back to what I should eat. Not really craving a cig. A little testy, but not too bad.
