New day

I am here... about to leave for work and starting day three. I have a hurdle today because I have to drive 20 minutes to a meeting across town and I always used these opportunities to smoke. I have avoided driving alone the past two days and this will be a little tiny test. But, at least, I won't be worried that people will be smelling smoke on me when I enter the building. The day's going good so far, Sparky. But I hear you loud and clear. When days 8 and 9 roll around, I've found them to be, trying, shall we say. Lets make a pledge to stick together newbies, and really be great support for each other. That way we'll make it through the rough spots. And like you Sparky, I pledge to remain smoke free today. Just a quick note. I am starting day 2. Jan and Dee are you on the same page? I pledge not to smoke today. Yesterday was good, but like I have said before the first few days go well, it's when I get to days 8 & 9 that I get in trouble. Anyway I just wanted to say Hi. Have to take hubby to the doctor this morning so I will check in later. Back from the doctor. I think things will be okay. They found a pretty large palup,(husband) but the doctor thinks it will alright. Will know in a couple days. They found a small one on me, but not worried. While I was waiting for my husband a man came in to the office, talk about a walking ash tray. OMG he smelled so bad. I said a small prayer and thanked God that I won't have to smell like that ever again. He smelled soooooooooooooooo bad :eg: I do not understand what is going on, but so far I had hardly any craves or any discomfort. I will take as many days like this as I can ;p Everyone have a great day!!
