Smoked my last cig last night and today has been pretty good.Tried a few of the CVS brand stop smoking aid lozenges and they taste minty at first but after a few minutes your mouth feels like you ate a ashtray.Great incentive to quite smoking..lol My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Welcome :) I'm new here as well. The folks here are so friendly and welcoming and supportive. It definitely helps make a difficult time a little less difficult. It's nice to communicate with people who know exactly how you feel and what you are going through because they are going through it too. Hey Tiga, Congratulations on your decison to quit smoking... After awhile, you'll realize that your mouth had felt like you'd just ate an ashtray for a long time. This happens to me everytime I find myself walking behind a smoker and I get a blast of second-hand smoke. You'll find that your sense of smell and taste improve dramatically as you get into your quit, and it'll be easier than ever to breathe. Best of luck to you ! Hi tiga, welcome to this terrific site! What a wonderful choice you have made.Deep breaths, stretching and lots of water helped me in the first few days along with reading and re-reading my reasons for quitting and all the positive messages from everyone here. I also taped "N.O.P.E.(Not One Puff Ever) to my computer monitor.I love that term. Congrats, Trudy :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 516 Amount Saved: $65.78 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 10 Mins: 47 Seconds: 28
