kel,
Congratulations on your decision to quit and welcome to the SSC.
While you are gearing up for your big day, spend lots of time here reading through ALL the forums. There is a ton of great infomation here. There is also a quitting program/workbook here that can be very helpful. Be certain to check that out.
You may also wish to do some web searches and do more reading on the quit process and what smoking really has been doing to you. Visit whyquit.com for some interesting stories and information. You will find that the people here will bend over backwards with support for you. Be sure to have your son register also.
Here is a favorite quote of mine to help you put your quit into perspective...
[b]"May we never let the things we can't have, or don't have, or shouldn't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it, for one of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

Best wishes.
