off the patch

Hi Judy: I too am on the patch and some times the itching makes me think of getting off the patch. I have gone from the 21mG and now I am on the 14mG. I am afraid that if I do not stay on the patch I will give in to the cravings ( will power has never been my strong suit). When you got off the patch did the cravings hit you bad?

Good for you Judy! I took mine off after a week too! I feel much better without it! The withdrawal symptoms seem to be a lot less harsh, and I just feel calmer...Less twitchy...I really think it was okay for that first week to help take the edge off, but Im really happy to be nekkid! YAY FOR US!!! Judy, Judy, Judy !! You have come to the right place girl ! You and I are in about the same boat .. I quit 14 days ago (this afternoon). Congratulation on dropping the patch ! We are starting a ne club for people who quit in February.. we are still trying to decide on a name even. Look for the post about entering a name and getting added to the list if you would like to join. FairyDust is collecting the names and info of new members.. We'd love to have you ! Try carrying around some hard candy (and chocolate ONLY ON OCCASION !) to help fight the urges. They give your body a quick lift to get you through. Come often and know that we know your pain because, we are brave soles on the same journey that you are ! You can do it !!
