I have made it to four months of not smoking. I am still struggling with cravings though - sometimes the urge is like a wave that I feel will crush me unless I breathe in deeply. I recognize that I have to change my attitude to this thing. Every day must be a day where I am happy that I don't smoke but on some days I find that harder to do than on others. Nevertheless, I will keep on taking it one day at a time - I have not, and will not, smoke today.
