60 days is amazing, Lori! Smoking will not make studying any easier, it's just that you're used to rewarding yourself with a smoke every so often when you're studying, so your brain is crying out for a reward. It doesn't have to be big, just something you give yourself, accompanied by a pat on the back. See? Now you don't have a hand free to grab a cig ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 252 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,080 Amount Saved: $1,713.60 Life Gained: Days: 35 Hrs: 5 Mins: 8 Seconds: 46

Lori, Two months is fantastic, whether it feels that way or not! Once everything settles down I think you'll see what an amazing thing you are doing. I know you caught a glimpse earlier in your quit and that will come back. 90 Days was when I really turned the corner and knew without a doubt that this was my new life, there was no turning back and that I was forever grateful for the decision. You'll get there in your own time and it won't feel like a battle forever. This first bit can be a roller coaster but it will even out and you'll be SO glad you did it! Lori, Been there .........done that. At 60 days everything in my life sucked too. Nothing looked positive TO ME. It will get better. Just hang in there. I'm not sure we will ever get over the addiction of nicotine...but I know it gets easier and life becomes much more positive. This is a learning process just like law school. You can pass both test. You will be laughing at how negitive you were. Sounds to me like a lot of positive things are happening in your life. Make a list and be grateful. Lori, first congrats on 60 days smoke free. Look at you, you are going to school and getting ready for finals and you are doing it smoke free. That is no little feat. I think, for me, we get a little complacent and forget what this journey is all about. Sure a smoke would be nice if you want to smell like an ashtray, have to go outside to smoke, or smell up you home. No you are just having a poor me moment. You are doing great and I am sure you will do great with your finals. Go and do something nice for Lori, okay? Again congrats on 60 days of being smoke free!!!! Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 212 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,120 Amount Saved: $318.00 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 13 Mins: 23 Seconds: 35
