Thanks Anna. Yes I do feel great these days. So very fit. Your stats look good too. Keep up the good work! It's worth it. Lolly and Lin thanks for stopping in, girlfriends. Yeah the old place is all spruced up isn't it? We can 'see' more people now. I love it. Yes, Lolly the new ones probably do think we're old and boring but it is fun to stop back by from time to time isn't it? Thanks everybody. It has been a fun party. Somebody else I know is due a 5 year party tomorrow.... ;), Miss Tresa. Hugs, Melanie

Hi Mel, It's great to see your smiling face here, and wonderful to see your 5 year quit being recognised as it should be! You were a great help to me at the start of my quit and I shall always be grateful. Thank you my friend. I wonder if all the new quitters who read this thread will be like children when their parents and grandparents talk about the 'old' days.....y'know, yawning and looking bored. Hey folks.....this is what it's all about! People like Mel and so many others celebrating their freedom......it's a true inspiration! Love and Congrats again Mel, Lolly. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/25/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 984 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 34,440 Amount Saved: 4,920.00 Life Gained: Days: 140 Hrs: 17 Mins: 32 Seconds: 40

My hubby is celebrating his 5 years quit anniversary too this week, it seems like so long ago that we went through those early struggles and now they are only a faint memory. Lamplighter I remember you from before! Thanks alot. It looks like you're doing great too. Sue_in_NC, you guys are cute! Thank you. I just got back from NC today. I went to a concert in Asheville. Hang in there, y'all. It is worth it. It really is. I love being free. Luna, I'm happy for you guys. I've got a good one going too. :) Thanks everybody. It is so nice to go to a show and have a beer and not want the you/know/what to go with it. Melanie
