I'm on day 3 of my quit, and I feel awesome. I just had to share this.
Last night, the cravings were hitting me really hard. The hubby wanted to go off shopping for a while, but I just didn't trust myself in the car not to light up. So, to give me a break, he took the kids so I could have the house to myself for a while.
So, there I was. For 4 hours, I had the house completely to myself. My husband still smokes and buys by the carton. I knew just where the cigs were, and that no one would be around if I went outside to smoke.... and I DIDN'T SMOKE! I stayed in the bedroom, snuggled up with a snack and a good book, and I DIDN'T SMOKE!
YAY for ME! I just had to share that with someone. I was a heavy smoker, going up to two packs a day if I was stressed. If I can do this, than anyone can!!!
