i really believe that that is the right attitude , you have to be willing to go through the pain to win this fight.
but the good news is , the pain doesn't last very long , and it gets easier with time , and thank the lord , it is so worth it !

great posts gang !

Well, whether or not you know it  - you are my inspiration. I quit just 7 days ago and I am going through the same panic and anxiety. Just know that it will not last - I am willing to confront my anxiety or anything else that challenges my will to not smoke again. I am willing to go through 10 HELL WEEKS if that is what it takes!! We can do it!!!

Remember, you are in charge.
You are the one that decides to light up the first one. Nicodemon gets control of you after that.
STAY QUIT!!!!!!!!

Mamma D, crisises happen, this won't be the first or last.  The bad part about quitting is that you have to deal with the crisis, instead of falling into the crutch of smoking.  You'll feel more empowered if you get through this one without smoking.  Stay strong!

Mamma D, just say N.O.P.E.  My mantra is that smoking won't fix, cure, repair, replace, eliminate, reduce, or any other verb!  You have 136 days smoke free.  You are a CHAMPION!!!!!!!!  I am going through Hell right now with a family crisis, but I wake up each and every morning and thank GOD that I'm not smoking!  I pray that I remain smoke free each day.  Because I know that smoking won't fix anything!  You can do this!!!  And yes, a HUGE reward is in order!  You deserve it!!!

Mamma D , You can get over this, remember "its just a thought, thoughts have no power unless you give it, and some thoughts are just not worth it". Hang tough , remember what it was like in the beginning of the quit. You know the answers M'Dear.....
