Cat, Way to go for fighting the urge and and not giving in when you have a bad day. You are learning how to live the life of a non-smoker, finding coping techniques other than cigarettes when you have stress in your life. Those bad moods will come and go, your next bad day you will be more prepared for. Stay strong. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

Hi cat- Good for you for hanging in there, bad mood and all! I've been in a horrible mood too and I'm having quite a tough time with my (sweet?) 16 year old daughter. This morning I had to tell myself (out loud) "smoking will not make me feel better!!!". You're doing great! Thanks, Unhooked. We made up again, by the way- maybe I was expecting to much after Jorge in the treehouse ;-) We learn a bit more, every day. How boring life would be f everything stayed the same... Cat, remember that non-smokers have bad days, get into bad moods, fight with their SO's & sleep on the couch, too. They don't smoke over it. They deal with it. We're learning how to be non-smokers. Hi! How do I feel? After 3 weeks? In my cravings diary, I put only 3 today (it helps that I seem to be coming down with a cold). But there should be another category: mood / good or bad humor I am in such a bad humor that I almost broke up with my boyfriend yesterday- I actualy spent the night on the livig room couch. So: cravings: B mood: F- I wish that we could all have a sort of communal (but anonymous nonetheless for those who choose) graph so we sould see how others are doing.. Really re-enforces the truth that you will not stop craving until you stop giving in to it, doesn't it? I think I'm going to adopt Pen's words & live by them in everything: JFDI.
