Having a OFF DAY

Hey Jeanigirl - so glad to hear you are feeling better today. Don't think I have any ideas that would help but am glad that you are hanging in there. One thing I do with frustration, or just random 'ole stress is I turn it inward so easily. Finding a healthy outlet to get rid of it properly is many times just as frustrating! Found that skipping rope worked very well for me -- I could pull out a jump rope & do it almost anywhere to combat the frustration. Amazingly I can get one heckava workout from it too. Hold on as 51 days is an AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT! Ericon

Way to stay strong and post jeanigirl, I am right behind you and watching....lol. Together....together....together we can all do this. We are all having some very similar things happening and it really helps knowing that we aren't off our rockers....well at least not on that account...lol. Sometimes my family thinks I am but that wasn't do to quitting....lol. I am very proud of how strong you are and how dedicated to your quit you are. You doing so well and I am going to stay right behind you. Keep going...you are doing an awesome job. Hello Jeani Girl, I missed this thread, sorry. I can only add that it could also be to do with this 50 thing i have had a tough time and at the weekend i really WANTED to smoke, I was so upset that i couldnt, Not at all. I felt like i was missing out (I suppose I would have felt the same if i wasnt allowed to drink socially) I just have to keep thinking its an all day every day habit. That isnt going to go away. Hope you get to feel better I just wanted you to know that there are a lot of us at the same stage of our quit who feel exactly the same way right now, i hope it will pass. Hurstk if you check in, i hope this moment is over soon, by the way your dead on, i swear one day my nose sniffed out smoke from miles away, and i yearned, then the next week i gagged watching someone inhale all that filth into there lungs, i know im normal (maybe) just from sharing with everyone here, i would be so lost without this site, all the best jeanigirl My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 662 Amount Saved: $237.5 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 9 Mins: 28 Seconds: 32

Thanks Shevie and breakingfree for the words, thats a great idea. And your words explain it well , i do feel like things are pent up inside of me, i am border line on the verge of tears. And yet i ask myself why now, is this just anther down to go with all the ups... i am rewarding myself...and building new non smoking memories... the thing that bothers me, is that i felt so hateful today, which is really not me, i am feeling calmer this evening, I am such a worry bug, i hate not feeling ok, (OK ) i need to think some nice thoughts instead of worrying why i feel bad, lets see why i feel good. I have kicked butt for 50 days.... and i will carry on kicking butt, thanks for being there, lets all get carried away, i need a good a laugh, thanks jeanigirl.. Hi im back, still having a feeling of doom and gloom, so now im going to lock myself away, take a bubble bath, and just go with the flow. Right now i just literaly dislike everyone, evryone around me, and on the tip of my toung are nasty things to say... thats why im keeping my mouth shut, i know i will regret it later, HEY its better than picking a fight, yes i want to do that too. oh poo what a waste of energy. thanks for being there, i hope im cured after my bubble bath , ill check back later jeanigirl My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 659 Amount Saved: $237.5 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 8 Mins: 57 Seconds: 49

Hi, Im not moping, im forcing a smile and my jaw is tired...i feel better today still edgy, but i think its due to some situations i am dealing with, that i have never dealt with before as a non smoker. So of course the addict in me reminds me i use to smoke at this time, and the new me is saying, i can get through this, so it is a new experince and its going in my non-smoking bank of memories. I do not feel as secure lets say like the last few weeks, i feel more like the scale could tip at any moment, i just had to be honest about it, because its a scary, thanks for being there, hanging tough jeanigirl My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 51 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 672 Amount Saved: $242.25 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 11 Mins: 28 Seconds: 59
