Junkie Thinking

Ok, how about: I'll just smoke again till I lose some weight. Then when I quit again, I'll remember to excercise so don't gain. Ha! Stupid junkie. I would just be fat AND smelly! I'm kind of new here and late on this thread so I'll say something, maybe unrelated. I am an ex junkie and know something about junkie thinking. I feel that ciggs were a linc to dope and they had to go even through it's been 4 years, the junkie thinking was still there perpetuated in part by smoking. With ciggs, I have a much better idea of what it's like to be really clean and clearer, though I don't always like it. I didn't have a smokers cough or weeze after over 35 years of smoking but with my luck would have gotten lung cancer and died quickly like my mother. I just want a better chance to live out the rest of my live productivly and feel I have a better chance physicaly and mentaly without smoking. all the best

Kelly and unhooked, Remember Refrigerator Perry? Well, I could be File Cabinet Aloha I don't often come up with original inspirational posts, but I sure can remember where some of the best ones are. So, that is my contribution to my fellow quitters. I do care, Kelly, about each of us who are conquering this addiction, who are brave enough to shake this sucker off our backs. So I do this, even tho I know it isn't anything new, but I know these threads have helped me, and I hope that they will help someone else. And I have faith that they will be passed on by others. Love you -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 173 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,920 Amount Saved: $1,176.40 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 2 Mins: 58 Seconds: 22
