You are on the right track Lisa.

Keep up the good work and always think it through before you act on the impulse.
You are doing great.
The craves get less and less everytime you beat them.  Just keep beating them down and soon they will be just a little anoyance once in a while.

Congratulations

Gobs,

After all the good healthy activity, I think you would have passed out!  having a cigarette would have done the same thing!

Good for you for thinking it through and fighting the crave!

Your looking good, keep it up!

Day 5.  Yesterday after complete physical exertion (hiking for two days), I wanted to reward myself so bad with a cigarette but I resisted.  Amazing.  Didn't think I had it in me to resisist that impulse.  If I stop and pause, however, and think of the benefits of not taking that first drag, I found that the tempation passed.  Sometimes it takes 30 seconds to pass and sometimes thirty minutes.  The good thing is, however, is that it does pass if I just wait it out. Thanks for the support.  Lisa
