Remember, non-smokers have rough days, too. They get through & so will we because we're non-smokers, too! Hang in, you 2, it's so worth it! I've been having a rough 4th day too :( I know it will get better, because I have been here before and managed through it but for some reason today has been a really hard one. I met my ex in the morning and that always brings me down a bit. Plus in my previous weeks I would just sit at the park after meeting him and have a fag... but today I just ran to the lab and went directly to lab meeting. After lunch the coffee didn't help either and the overall feeling of confusion and lack of concentration is driving me nuts. But hey, maybe tonight all I'll do is go for a swim and reward myself with a long chat with my sweet boyfriend (who's in England). Anyhoo, I didn't mean to say all of that and complain but sometimes it just feels nice to let it out. Thanks for listening (or reading :P) and especially thanks for sharing your feelings... it feels nice to know you're not alone :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 45 Amount Saved: $14.63 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 11 Seconds: 25

Sounds rough! If you can get through today, just think about it. You can get through anything! Thanks Josie, I needed a pick me up. I found two really good quotes that also helped. "The strength of the heart comes from the soundness of the faith." "It's easier to prepare and prevent, than to repair and repent." Plan ahead and use this to your advantage! Truck through until quitting time and head home for relaxation and do not disturb! Make it a good one with rewards and all! Josie, Support Specialist

Today has been a rough day...and I am not sure what one thing triggered it. A friend that quit the same day I did has also been struggling today. Is it knowing heck week is almost over? But this is what is going on today. At home, the kid overslept, my husband smells like smoke and then left a half pack in my car. On the way, traffic was rough and I was in a hurry. At work, there has been a plumbing fiasco, so none of the restrooms are open, so we are having to go to an office building up the road, and there are 5 full floors of us, so the wait times are AWFUL!! My co-workers are amused today at my coping skills... AND I have the hiccups that I can not get rid of. I love the quote, "When you are at the end of your rope, tie a know and hold on..." Im still holding and I dont want to smoke...but dang!! It is hard to keep saying that.
