Angel, You're definitely not boring anyone. And look at that quit you have going there!!!! Wow, congratulations on a job well done. Girl, you do good work!! First off, your health and the health of your family is the most important thing. You know that and that's why you're so strong. But you're getting a huge reminder of how cigarettes impact your health when you're around second hand smoke. Don't ignore that reminder for anything, okay? You WILL meet people, new friends, who do not smoke. Right now, you have those "5 lively boys" and I know how tied down you are raising your kids. But any time you can, snatch some time for Angel....just for yourself. Get out of the house and meet other folks. You will meet people who do not smoke. They are out there. In fact, more and more people are becoming Non Smokers. Think of some places around town that you would like to visit or things you would like to get involved in and go for it. I promise, you'll mee a bunch of Non Smokers. Hang in there and we're so proud of you. Keep talking to us all you need to, okay? This is a great site full of support and good friends. HI Angel, Sorry you feel like you are losing friends. You have 5 of the most important friends you will ever need. You will find new friends or the others will decide not to smoke so much around you. But for now you are doing GREAT!!!!!! You will be alive and well for your boys and that is most important except you breathing fresh air. Hang in there we are all behind you Jnine My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 53 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,077 Amount Saved: $145.75 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 1 Mins: 3 Seconds: 43

Angel I do hope that you will not lose your friends because they are smoking and you are not, but for me if it meant quitting or going back, I would have to opt for not going back... Maybe you can explain to your friends how you feel and let them know that you do not want to choose between them and cigarettes...Perhaps they will accomodate your needs and help you along... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 73 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,769 Amount Saved: $511 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 16 Mins: 43 Seconds: 31

Angel- Those five lively boys give you the perfect thing to do without smoking. Go to the park, little league games, or even their school. I'm sure you will find other parents who don't smoke! Angel - You are definately not boring us. It must be really hard when all of your friends are smokers. Perhaps you need to limit the amount of time you spend with them (at least when you are inside) When I smoked, I honoured my friend's rules to smoke outside....When they came to my home, I smoked but usually stayed close to the door or window. Where I live the smoker is the odd man out so quitting has not forced me to give up friendships. I'm sorry that you are going through this. That's a tough one. Angel, This must be tough. You've received some great advice from your fellow quitters already. I can only add that perhaps choosing where you interact with them would help? A smoke-free environment? Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team
