I don't know what happened. I was fine one minute and the next thing I know, I feel like I'm going to lose it. I feel like a cigarette is all I need right now. I am SO uptight and nervous. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep my emotions intact. WHY NOW?

Here I am. I'm still hanging in there.
I have a quick question concerning the IM, but I don't know where I should address it. Suggestion??

Stormy.....oh, Stormy.....are you still here? Hope today has been a bit better for you. Stressful times still throw me for a loop, but it gets easier with time. Hang in there! :) Post. :) NOPE. :)
You are now in Heck Week. Not as bad as Hell Week, but still not out of the woods.
Grab your coping skills and use them. Get through this crave. Do you know what triggered it? If you do, acknowledge it and move your mind to doing something else that you can visualize yourself enjoying as a non smoker.
Don't forget the deep breathing. A quick walk around the block is very helpful as well ... get out for a minute and clear your mind.
Then come back here and post if you need to.
What ever you do ...

Hi, Stormy. Congrats on 9 days quit. :)
You're going through withdrawal, Stormy, that's all. I know you're through the detox period, but your body and brain are still adjusting to the loss of nicotine. Right now their chemistries are totally whacked (to put it in scientific terms :p). Mood swings, anxiety, and sudden changes will be normal for a bit. Just try to stay calm and ride them out. If things get to you, come here to vent.
