Sparky  Nice to see you back. You know as smokers the things that we'd do and the lengths that we'd go to to smoke is sick. Who said addiction wasn't sick. A smoker today is hooked on as weak and is somone that I don't want to be today. As always I support your quit wholeheartedly. I know you can do this and you know that you can as well. When the time is right you will succeed. Excellent for you. breather

Hi Sparky,

I'm glad to hear that you have decided to remain Sparky.  Apparently ( I was told) there is a second Lolly somewhere.
I've been trying to reply to this post since you wrote it, but the new SSC still has some unresolved glitches.
As you may imagine, we are all right behind you whatever you do!  Do prepare well and I wish you strength as you start.

Love Lolly.

For now I am keeping the name Sparky, I have used it here for years and it would be hard to try another one since my "friends" know me by that name.  Ron, I remember that cigarette in the car , glad I was here to help.  Lainey I thought about using Sparkster, Aloha started that I also thought about changing it to Mr. Kitty.  Thanks for the welcome back, Brenda.  Memie, weren't you a little white cute fluffy dogie???  I will visit as I prepare.

Jim what is best for Dewey and me, wish I knew.  I know smoking doesn't help and then I think it does.  My mind is all screwed up.  Dewey had another seizure a little over 2 weeks ago.  He was in the hospital and I went out to smoke on a smoke free property.  Well I got caught and was informed it was a smoke free area, which I knew.  How sick is it when you know full well what you are doing is so wrong?  I do not want that to be my story.  When he has to go back I want to be smoke free, hoping he doesn't return for a very long time.

I have about 3 weeks of Chantix left from a former quit, I am going to use those and hope for the best.  The way I have it figured my quit will be Friday, we will see. Thanks for the responses.

Hey Sparky!!!

When you're ready, we're more than ready for your return!  You don't have to remain absent during your return to cessation, we'll all be happy to assist you in your preparations and help you get psyched up for "THE" quit!!!

The most important thing to remember is that you have to do what is right for you and Dewey right now!  If that means waiting a bit longer, so be it!  We're not going anywhere, buddy!!!  Hope to "see" you here again real soon!

BTW... glad to see your Huskers are back on track!

          Jim

Sparky,

You can change your name if you like and perhaps add an icon or symbol !  We know this is a difficult time for you and know that our thoughts are with you.  Your determination and drive will get you to where you want to be and we will help you in any way we can.  You are a great support to your family and we can be a great support to you.

You know what needs to be done and how to do it, check back when your ready and take it step by step, day by day.
