Hey Bear, I didn't know that you were watching me from that frosty stream. I know, I have had sooo many ups and downs, quitting, slipping, quitting, slipping...but all those experiences led me to where I am today..smoke free. I don't ever want to go back. Thanks for the encouragement. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 210 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,040 Amount Saved: $1,050.00 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 23 Mins: 31 Seconds: 11

thanks Martha and Mercy, Yes, I am finally nicotine free...no more NRT, no more cigs. I feel more confident as each day passes. I still cry more than ordinary, and get blue; but overall, I am much more peaceful. I think that my body is finally getting back in balance. What a trip! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 209 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,016 Amount Saved: $1,045.00 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 21 Mins: 8 Seconds: 30

new me, I was the same way. My mornings were full of coffee and cigarettes but I would eat lunch around 1pm. I'd push off my hunger to the last possible time though. I work differently now too. I used to let myself become consumed with whatever I was doing - only stopping for my smoke breaks. Now I try to listen to my body more and giving it what it needs when it needs it. Congrats on those 209 Days and being nicotine free! It's wonderful, isn't it? It is not only finally getting to enjoy eating breakfast again; it is finally getting over my smoking related eating disorder; being able to feel my hunger instead of smoking it away; finally loving myself enough to want to do what is good for me. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 209 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,016 Amount Saved: $1,045.00 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 18 Mins: 36 Seconds: 8

Hi new me It's great that you now have breakfast. For me I have very little for an appetite since I quit smoking. I'm not interested in food in the least. I actually force myself to eat. I suppose that's just a phase and it will pass.
