You have been on my mind every since I read this. How to respond, we just do. You know there are many here who have you and your mother in their prayers, me included.
Cancer is an awful thing. It now only touches the person it touches everyone. I don't want to make this about me and I won't. I have been there more than I want and more than I ever want to see someone go through.
Focus on your time with your mother. Focus on HER needs, yours will be taken care of later. When she wants something done and you think there is time for it later, do it, just do it. When she wants to talk, listen. When she says she is not hungry don't try to make her eat it will only upset her and you. Pictures oh my get as many as you can. Find out her favorite movies, her favorite books, what made and makes her happy. If there are family recipes, get them before they are lost. Hug her and tell her how much you love her.
Just know you are not alone, I care I really do.
