It has been one year since I joined SSC and one-day smoke free. I am so grateful that I found this site. My journey has been interesting. I have learned many things and have met some wonderful people. The people I have met and there are many never gave up on me. One I have met, a couple I have talked to on the phone and the others I have contact with though this site and IM. They have become some of my best friends. A year ago I would not have imagine having cyber friends. Today I do not know what I would do without them. I give them credit for me being still here. THANK YOU MY FRIENDS!!! I am taking this quit as it comes, moment-by-moment and day-by-day. I know what is ahead and I am more prepared for it this time. Yesterday went good. Funny how the craves can be almost timed. When one would come, I would look at the clock and just smile. But last night when I was sleeping the Mother of all Mothers woke me straight up out of bed. Looked at the clock and sure enough it was time for a smoke. Drank some water and went back to sleep thinking It is so nice not to have to feed that monster anymore. It is sooooooooooooooooooooooo good to be back.
