Indeed, and it really shows in your support for some of the long term quitters who struggle yet with the addiction and just need a thumbs up once in a while. I know I have appreciated it!
Keep up the great work.

So very true Penitent ...
New Quitters need to know that that are Quits that are done with more ease...
Rachel this site is about stopping smoking, and there IS the Quit that's easy and graceful, for the most part...
Bumping for new Quitters so they can also read about the gentle and focused Quits ~ the ones without the dramatic and constant cries for help...
This can be YOU! Your Quit does not have be a constant daily struggle that never goes away :)

Rachel...
So right... ALL Quitters have sooo much to give... and the balance here does work, doesn't it?
Thanks for your insight, Rob :)

Hi Rob,
When you're having a hard time, just reach out and ask for what you need... Quitters can post, so they will always have constant support here :)
My main focus is on the new Quitters, as they need to hear that all Quits are not filled with so many challenges especially after 100 (or certainly 200!) days :)

Alley - so true...
I too ~ knew that Quitting would be my new life, and so I did just that... I got focused after I made the commitment to ME to Quit, and put one foot in front of the other.
Some old stuff came up for me to deal with, and some emotions came up also that called for some healing and some compassion for self... But I found most days to be calm and peaceful. And the tough days were not ones that went on for weeks on end... And after time passed... my Quit was easier and easier, as it has been for many of us.
Newbies - be aware that each Quit is different... Make yours ~ YOURS...
It's so very important that Quitters who had the easier, gentler Quits share their experiences with new Quitters, Newbies need to be aware of all experiences... I wish I had been.

My friend, Cobenfan, humour is so important in our Quits, isn't it?
When we look at my Quit - Pen's Quit and Cobenfan's Quit - we have the ability to see the easier side of the Quit journey...
We are all different... It takes commitment and focus to Quit - no matter what our trials and life experiences are...
Those of us who are finding easy and calm days now have the ability to shine a Light for others, reminding them that each Quit is different and that there definitely can be easier and calmer days ahead...
Some of us just don't struggle daily...
What's important is that newbies be acutely aware of both sides of the Quit journey...
Cobenfan - keep your amazing and powerful humour coming!
