Having a bad week

Cuddles - You know how this goes, you always hang tough and we are proud of you! Think of all the good things while you stay focused. How bout a little "time for Cuddles" and forget about the rest for a bit? Hi Cuddles - Sorry to hear that your week has been so gross. Dreaming about smoking a carton of cigs must have been a total nightmare. Think about how stinky everything would be and the second hand smoke that your 14 year old would breathe in. I'm so sorry... Having said that - I want to tell you how strong I think that you are. How wonderful you have been supporting everyone on this website over and over again. Where would we be without our Cuddles??? I'd rather not think about it. I know around my 100 or so days the junkie thinking really came out of the woodwork. I think that it was the last ditch effort on his part knowing that I was winning this war against nicotine. It is a battle that we have to face every flipping day. It's a draw from him to pull you back into that frame of mind. But I know that you are stronger than that. I know that you are an amazing woman..who cares if the in-laws are not speaking to you - sometimes a break can be a blessing. I'm sorry that your sister is having so much trouble. I will put in an extra special prayer for her tonight and for you as well. Now about that 14 year old - just tell him that you love him and want him to understand that this is very hard for you and to please stop being a pain in the butt! You are in my thoughts and prayers - Island Girl My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 178 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,789 Amount Saved: $356 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 21 Mins: 5 Seconds: 33

Cuddles, Sorry you are having a bad week. I can so relate to the In Law problems. I have gone through that more times than I can count in the last 25 years. Congrats on your 116 days though. See you are handling it all without smoking. It really can be done. Things will get better they always do. Keep strong. My sister had to go back in the hospital, she quit improving. My back still hurts. The In Laws are still not talking to us. One set lives on the same property. My positvie attitude is slipping. I dreamed last night that I smoked a whole carton of cigs. What is wrong with me. I need to get out of this pit. things were going so good. Junkie thoughts are contradicting every positive thought in my head. But I have to get through this. BFS is right it does get harder each time, you quit quitting. I know, been there, done that. Things will get better. But when. Why so much confusion now. Sister is still having trouble recovering from her hospital stay. In Laws are not talking to us because of something stupid and lame. They are acting like 2 year olds. Husband is mad at me, because he thinks I yelled at him when I didnt. 14 year old son is being a real pain in the butt. Pulled my back out and cant get anything done Sorry rather complain then smoke. Hopefully things get better before the weekend gets here. Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Complain away Cuddles. No smoking allowed. You have come so far in your quit. We all have trying times even when we smoke so you know that wouldn't do you any good. Hang in there. This too shall pass. Hope your sister is doing much better soon. The In-Laws will get over it - it's not your problem. Tell your husband to grow some thicker skin and move on. So what even if you did yell at him, we don't always shine do we? You're not yelling now right? Put the 14 year old in his place. He's a kid. Take some Ibuprofen sit down and get the 14 year old to do chores. Rest your back. If only it were all that easy....... I wish you well - this too shall pass. Try a smile....
