Cuddles, Look at you! Almost 4 months! How awesome is that?!?!?! Sorry you're having a bad week... just wanted to remind you of the wonderful thing that you DO have... your quit! Take pride in the things that are going right (and whatever you do, don't add to the bad week by smoking, k?) Hope your day/week gets better soon! Crave the Quit! Cuddles We cant choose the obstacles that come our way, but we can choose how we deal with them. Everything is overwhelming you so i ask you this.. have you taken the time out for you... taken the time out to give yourself a reward for all your efforts? Sometimes we have to hand it back to the universe and know that god witll take care of it. Nothing is going to change about your sister in law, she will still be in hospital weather you smoke or you dont you are not god and you dont have the power to "fix" this situation just let to go, be there for her, love her but let it go. Im a great beleiver in referred pain - remember the saying "i feel like a weight has been lifted off me" after something has been released from your responsibility?, unless you have some ligitimite reason as to why your back is sore this could possibly be why, we often carry a lot of stress in our bodies. It is the choice of your in laws to not speak with you - are they like 5 years old?? This situation again is out of your control, try as you might - nothing you say or do will change the way they feel. They choose to be this way, it is their choice dont take this on board. Are there some appologies required from either party? if so and they have been done then let it go, you can only do what you can do. It will be fine in that department. Man they must be stubborn tho! You may not beleive it but these challenges are sent to you today to make you a stronger person, it doesnt seem fair or right and you feel lousy going through all of this but it really WILL pass. Dreamed of smoking a carton of cigarettes? must have been a nightmare!! Ewww i could think of nothing worse than to take a drag from the sickarette. Its only going to make you cough, get dizzy, probably make you vomit and worst of all give you all those feeling of failure dont beleive that the sickarette will make this better for you - he will do the opposite. Sending you the biggest warmest hug with love and light to envelop you. PrincessC :) x Remember:::: better to be a non smoker with the occasional desire to smoke than a sm

The answer to all your problems Cuddles, is I-C-E! Tell the in-laws, hubby and kid to cool it. Try to chill out about your sister. And, stick a nice ziploc bag of chipped ice on your backside to get the swelling down. An Ibruprofen or two will also help with the inflammation, and a nice pitcher of ice water will help you ride out the temptation craves. Cuddles, Sorry to hear your having a bad week! Take some comfort in knowing this will pass. Your sister will recover, your in laws and husband probably won't be mad at you forever and your back will heal. Until then we are sending you good thoughts and many hugs! Be kind to yourself and come back to vent anytime, we'd rather that too! Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team
