Josie - good point, maybe I should charge smokers to see Dads new house that is covered in Nicotine stains,
The thought that my lungs were and probably still are for some time to come makes me feel ill

Hi
I'm in the process of buying a hosue for my Dad - but trouble is that before we can move him in it's needs every wall scrubbing at least twice due to the nicotine stains.
I thought it was bad when I was smoking, but OMG to see it now is even worst.

Hi Cobenfan,
We're 5 hours ahead of the SSC time here.
Fantastic quit by the way! Looks like all you Shamrocks will be starting to arrive at the Beach in a couple of weeks!

Some years ago from now, I was giving my flat a lick of paint (you know how horrible the walls and ceiling get when you smoke). A friend of mine visited while I was in the middle of the job. He said to me, 'So you're painting it beige'. I said, 'No, I'm painting it white'
Half the room was white and the other half was, er nicotine-stained white.....

Good Morning ! (evening to you Mr. Ed)
I bought a condo (or flat as you say) it was probably the first big wake up call to me about what smokers leave behind when they move. The woman who lived there before me was a very messay smoker - there was a hole the size of a bucket in the carpet from where she burned it. That had to go. When we got done with that, we washed the walls FOUR times in the same room (her bedroom) and the water still had a Nico-Tint Brown to it. We decided just to primer again - I think all she did was stay in and smoke all day. Glad I won't grow old like she did rocking in a chair smoking my life away! ;p
Yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 pm - correct? I hope your day is going great - I am up and out early for softball tournament this morning. Ironically enough - my daughters team is green and they call themsleves the "Shamrocks" - I told her I am a Shamrock too - she just looked at me like I was crazy - LOL

Hi Mr. Ed -
My mother in laws house is the same way. I can't hardly stand to
go over to her house at this point. She smokes cigs and my father in
law smokes a pipe. It makes for a gross combination both in smell and
in discoloration. So Icky!
Aren't you glad that in your house now white is white? I am!
Have a great day! I just talked to my friend that lives near Wales -
she said that it was a beautiful day there!
