Angelic, Stay strong, make good use of your coping mechanisms. Try some relaxation techniques. Whatever you do, do not smoke! You've come too far to end it now! Melanie _______________ The SSC Support Team

WooHoo...are you me under a different nickname??? LOL!!! I know how you feel it seems everybody wanted to irritate me when I first quit. Ignore everyone....take your phone off the hook...lock yourself in the bathroom.....go for a drive (eat twizzlers to stop the smoking thing while driving)...take a walk...BREATH!!!! It will get better. Just avoid those who trigger these breakdowns if that is at all possible. Give yourself alittle much needed TLC!!! Be a bit selfish for a few days...whatever it takes to get you through this. Keep posting...the chicken clucks for you!!! Angelic.. Take some deep breathes. When I quit smoking my mother's response was that it was stupid and why would I want to do something like that. My point is it doesn't matter what others think. I was mean, very mean when I quit. I had to put myself and my attitude in check so that I wasn't flying off the handle at everyone. Some days I still have to do that. This is your life, this is your quit and some days we just have to look out for ourselves. Give yourself permission to take care of yourself and your quit. It's allowed. Congratulations on you 11 days! Hold on to them with everything you've got. I feel like as if I am going through a big test with my quit. Everything that could possibly go wrong to set me off is going wrong. It's funny though because what normaly would make me smoke is not making me smoke. I have the real B**** attitude towards it and I am trying so hard not to let it get me. Bogbott...Thanks!! So glad you are still going with your quit. I remember when you first started out. I was lollypop then and a part of the Survivors. Not much of them around anymore so I am really happy you kept going. I agree with the both of you. It is just so hard to not run and smoke when I used to deal with things that way. I just wish that whether or not people understand they could still give some freakin sympathy but I guess not Angelic My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 231 Amount Saved: $51.92 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 38 Seconds: 47

ok here it goes. I just talked to my mother and she tells me that I have an attitude and I am being mean. She is always calling me and telling me to download these freakin casinos for her and it is getting irratating. I dont mind doing them but lately its every freakin day and then she will call me to ask me if I did it yet. If I didnt do it yet then she gets all pissed off. I would love to put my hand through the phone and slap her. She just doesnt understand what it is like and yet she smokes like a burning house. Some how its my fault now that we are fighting. She is always worried about herself. How people are treating her not how she treats people. Like I should still bow down to her even though I am going through this. Is this making any sense? I needed to get this off my chest and even though I typed it all it didnt help because I still want a smoke even though I know it wont help at all but it will calm me down. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 230 Amount Saved: $51.92 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 38 Seconds: 21
