What a great day your going to have! Rest and relaxation for all! Good for you for focusing on you and pampering yourself :) Don't forget the ice cream in bed, it goes great with a movie! Josie, Support Specialist

I understand completely! I was so exhausted last week and stressed from the everyday life affairs that I pulled my kids out of school on Friday and we went to the State Fair. It was just what the doctor ordered. A 3 day weekend and fun to boot! Sometimes we need what I call "mental health" days. It is to our benefit. Life is nothing without those we love. We need to stop and smell the roses along the way occassionally. Hope this day makes you feel better. Lady

Wildcat, Just sounds like you're doing what you have to do to stay cool. Only you can say if you're in need of that laid back day to yourself. Good for you. I hope you enjoy the whole day.

what a tough week-end. What a tough week. Between my crashing dis^pointment with my family doctor, the miserable dark weather, and the funeral on Saturday, I am at the end of my tub of strenght. So yesterday's hike in the woods was s samll effort to put us all to rights. Well today my 9 yr old son and 4 yr old daughter are taking a "bed day". I e-mailed to say I was taking a sick day at the office. I will call the school and daycare soon. And the three of us will spend the day napping, playing video games and watching movies. Okay, in my head I feel guilty about no going to work. I can say to myself all the worst things you think about the nastiest criminal... but in the end I have to admit that my gang is tired. Bed-times were run-over rought-shod and emotions were running high all week. I am taking the day and will distract any negativity with my really fun books (fantasy types). Do you know how nice it is to justify being lazy to yourself?
