Sounds like you are doing all the right things. It is ok if it takes a bit of time. Anger has a purpose at times and it is ok to feel "bad" emotions sometimes. Keep working on it and you will get to where you want to be - you always do.
Thank you for checking on me and how I am doing..It really does help knowing that someone is listening.
As for the emotions and letting go of some of them. I am still working on it. I haven't let go of the anger yet but it did seem to disappear for the most part today..Which was a huge relief. Anger is such a draining emotion for me..Which reminds me of what Davit once said and I am sure I am not quoting him correctly but it goes something like this I think. "Sadness is a much more positive emotion than anger"..I never really understood what he meant by this but I think I am beginning to understand now..That sadness and tears are a way of coming to terms with the anger, a way of acknowledging it and your feelings, a way of letting go of it and moving forward..which is a very positive thing..
Maybe this is what it means? I am not sure? I am still working on it and the emotions..
Just wanted to stop by and say I'm listening and keeping up to date on everything. Sounds like you are doing amazing. As always, it is amazing to see how far you have come and how much you are achieving in regards to health physically and mentally.
It certainly sounds like a lot of hard work but I hope you often check in with yourself and allow yourself to be amazed by your own strength and intelligence. It really is inspirational.
How is letting go of certain emotions going? Your thoughts on this would be very interesting to hear. How are you able to let go of the emotions? What are some struggles you have with this and how do you overcome this?
UPDATE:
I am working through my emotions and feelings and have let myself feel the anger. I am now ready and able to let go of it. It was serving me no good purpose anymore so I decided to let go of it yesterday..
I am continueing to work on my other emotions/feelings one at a time. I am confident that I will let go of them too when I am ready..

Sunny...Thank you so much for your support and for sharing the story about you ex husband. with me. This sounds very hopeful. I am going to call and make a appt. with the doctors this week and see what they can do..You are a dear!

Vincenza...Thank you for your positive support this morning..Everyones positive energy really helps..It is rather contiguous..
I spend most of yesterday sleeping and healing and it felt really good to be taking caring care of me..I am learning the value and important of self care...
Goodmorning! I am so happy to hear you are progressing well with your recovery and receiving the care you need right now. Sounds like you have a good plan with the quilting classes and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.
Hi Red: Sounds like good news for you, :-). My ex had the lung capacity and low oxygen problems also. He took the meds. for about 3 yrs. and is doing very well now. As I wrote before, he is able to go for long walks, no more huffing and puffing and no meds. at all. Doctor says his lungs are in good shape and he smoked since 13 yrs. old. He is in his 60's, so there is lots of positive things they can do for you too.
I went for my follow up appt. yesterday with my kidney surgeon and all is looking good..I can start lifting things over 10 pounds in 2 weeks and start getting back to doing some physical things again..
He did say I should see a Doctor in Pulmonary because of all the breathing and lung problems I had after surgery while in the hospital. That my lungs were are are not in very good shape and that I should of had testing done before surgery. He feels that quitting smoking is a good start to getting my lungs working better but he feels that doctors in pulmonary could help me out with meds for my breathing..He said that he feels I am to young at 57, to have to start carrying a oxygen tank with me everywhere and that these doctors could help me to feel better with other meds and that these breathing meds may help me do the things I want to do like work in my yard and go for walks, and I may be able to walk on surfaces that are not totally flat..May even be able to walk a small grade without huffing an puffing..
It would be great if they could help me..I am afraid to get involved with the pulmonary testing but at I the same time I have hopes that it will help me and improve the quality of my life...
So I guess I will make a appointment for the first part of June and getting started on it..It is going to take time with all the appointments and such..I am hoping to see some improvement before my quilting classes start again in September..and of course I would love to be able to enjoy this coming summer with lots of outside activities...
Hi Sunny: Thank you so much for the well wishes today..It is going to take time but I am on the mend and doing well..I am looking forward to getting out more with my sewing machine in hand again in a few months..Till then I will start working on a few projects here at home..As for the coughing after quitting smoking, I don't have a cough really..My problem is with my lung capacity and low oxygen levels. I am hoping this will improve in time..I know I am breathing much easier already..
I just read about your trip to see your family and to attend your mothers funeral..I am sure she would be very proud of you for giving her eulogy..So sorry to hear you became sick just before you left and had to go to the er..I hope you are resting and doing better now that you are back home again..
