strange feelings when up and about

Hi Jen, I am JUST like you in this department. My biggest symptom is head pressure / headache that never seems to go away. And like you, when I'm lying down or relaxing in a comfortable chair it isn't very bad at all. I don't think anything is physically wrong with you. When we stand our blood pressure and heart beat both increase, it's natural. If you're under tension or stress your blood vessels in your brain shrink slightly and this could be the reason you feel a headache when you stand or maybe why you might feel lightheaded. There is probably nothing wrong with your brain though. To be sure you could have a CT scan or an MRI done if you are definately concerned. This will also help relieve your stress about worrying over it. Good luck, Bill

Hi, I'm noticing that when I'm laying down or sleeping or relaxing, my panic is almost nonexistant. Suddenly, when I'm up and walking around, I get tenseness in my forehead, strange headaches, and it impairs my thinking because I think it all is related to my brain. Ibuprofen sometimes helps, but the feeling/fear is always there that something is seriously wrong with me and I will pass out or have something horrible happen. Does anyone else feel like this? Or should I see a doctor?
