Fatwillie, It is possible but it will still require hard work in therapy and you should discuss this matter with your doctor before changing your dosing. Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Well, I defenitely think it is possible to do it without the meds. I used to have tons and I mean tons of meds! I wened myself off of them and I did really well for three years. But then many many things happened in my life at once and I relapsed. So I started taking one med again. Then I weened myself off and was good for a few months then at the present I am taking small doses of it but am weening off at present. Ok so I am not the best example. I am flexible about using my meds when I think I need them and then not taking them for long periods when I dont. But I am proof that weening works. And ehy if I can go for three or was it fous years without meds, I am sure it can be done for good. When I say I relapsed, I really am sure it had nothing to do with the meds. Plus I am sure I could have come back without the meds. I just chose to use the meds to help myself along. So if you want to do this without meds well talk to your doctor and such but I think in many cases it is possible. Just make sure to talk to your doctor and to not make a go of it alone, make sure to have support. -Diva
