Haha not that I'm aware of! Cody Simpson is from the Gold Coast though, which is about 2 hours from Toowoomba and where I want to live one day.

Hi Shari,

That sounds amazing! Yes, America is very diverse :) Here we mainly have oceans, rainforest and desert haha.
Geoffrey Rush is actually from my hometown, Toowoomba. He won Australian of the Year 2012, and my drama class all got to meet him. I didn't get to see him though, because of my agoraphobia :(

Hi Kaitie,

I've never been to Australia, but I've been across the border in British Columbia Canada in 2002.  We went on a cross country trip of the U.S. in our RV.  America is really a beautiful place too, lots of diversity; mountains, oceans, etc.  Of course, Australia has my favorite Actor, Geoffrey Rush.  If you see him, tell him I said, "G'day mate!"

Hi Shari,

Yes, he's my beautiful rainbow lorikeet (an Australian native) called Beau. As his breed suggests, he's rainbow. His back is green, his chest is a mixture of yellow, orange and red, his belly is blue and green, the back of his neck is yellow and he has a blue head with red eyes :) if you google rainbow lorikeets, there are plenty of clearer photos.

And yeah I am Australian, I tried to show what country I'm from in my profile but it said I'm from Canada! It is a beautiful place to live, especially Queensland, no where has beaches like ours :) have you ever been to Australia?
I would love to visit America one day and skiing in Vancouver would be amazing. In grade 6 I had a Canadian exchange teacher and she lives near Vancouver.

Hi Kaitie,

Is the avatar of your pet bird?  So cute!!!  Is he or she a Conure?  What color is he or she and what's his or her name?

FYI, a long time ago, my family and relatives had planned to move to Australia (I think that's where you said you're from).  I think it would be a beautiful place to live.

Hi Shari,

That's so funny, it would've been awkward if you'd called the police and everything. We had a massive hail storm here a couple of days ago, so that's the closest thing to a white Christmas we'll ever have here :)

Thank you for the instructions, I'll have to try it out ;)

Hi Kaitie,

I'm back with the avatar instructions :)  When you're on the Forums page, under everyone's avatar pictures, on the right, you will see Support Group Options, click on it.  On the top right you'll see Choose File, click on it and a window will open from your computer on the upper left side.  Click on whatever folder holds your picture, click open.  Then, click on the picture you want and click open again and you should see the name of your picture with jpg after it, to the right of the Choose File button.  Then, scroll down to the bottom and click Update my Profile and your picture should be the new avatar.  Just a note...your photo has to be small email size in order for it to work.  To do that, I have to go on my computer and go to Start (lower left corner), click My Pictures, click on the picture I want, click Edit Size, then on the right, Resize the photo to Predefined width  x height, small email, ok, and then go to File (upper left corner) click Save As, Rename the Photo (so it saves your original size photo), click ok. When you exit out of the window, it will ask you if you want to save the changes you made, click No and you're good to go.  Just remember what you renamed the photo, so your new avatar will be the small one and not the original size so it will work. Whew!  Good luck! :)

Shari
