Hi all, thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully it works for me, really eager to do it. Been suffering from anxiety for the past two and a half years and it just gets too much. Have been to docs numerous times, got prescribed medication but I feel that just hides the symptoms and isn't helping me to deal with it at all.

Welcome Gail!

The Depression Center is proven to have a positive effect on people with mild to moderate Depression.

If you put the work in you will likely see benefit. Be sure to make a schedule for yourself in order to work on the program regularly. Reward yourself for each session you complete and for each goal. How much time a week are you willing to commit to working on this program a week? How will you ensure you stick with this commitment?

Hi Gail,
It's a good complement to individual work, with the posting as a support network.  It was hard for me to get posting, and I imagine it's difficult for the many members to similarly overcome discomfort as well.

Congratulations on starting, and hope to hear from you.

ps.  I noticed you're from the UK, and recently admired some photos of the late Duchess Diana.  I drove by the country estate of Sir Elton John years ago, who dedicated a song to her, and occasionally am reminded of her by his appearances and prolific contribution to music.

His home is breathtaking, like something out of storybook, but I'm just a city bumpkin

Welcome Gail,

I would say that following the program has dramatically improved my everyday life.

In the beginning, reading the sessions gave me a lot of eye-opening experiences that were really helpful (knowing what symptoms my anxiety was causing was a big one).

I did not "love" doing the homework but I can see the results of my efforts now. My skills with using CBT have increased and it feels wonderful, I hope you'll feel similarly soon!

Best wishes to you.

Hi everyone,

I've just signed up today for the program, and I'm wondering if anyone here already a member has seen any improvement from carrying it out. I have read the first session and I can admit it looks more of a help than anything I've seen on the net so far, so feeling optimistic! Hope to hear from you all Xo
