The same thing happened to me. When I replaced all my negative thoughts with positive, one day there was just no more panic. No taper even just gone. Scared me because I kept expecting it to come back and so it did but to a lesser extent.
I have been panic free for about 2.5 weeks now. I start a new and good job this monday. I have not even been thinking about leaving my home when I want to and have not had any attacks at all. I am still concerned about relapses but am trying to remember that if they come I can handle it. I am still not sure why it has seemingly gone away so quickly but I still see my therapist because I want to be sure to work thru the issues that lead me here in the first place so that I can minimize my chances for this happening to me again. I stil meditate and breathe and would just like to let everyone know to be encouraged and don't give up.
Congratualtions! That is a VERY big acheivement that is worthy of recognition especially by you. You should celebrate in any way you want because it encourages you to keep up the strength to overcome anxiety. Good Luck!
I am happy to hear you had a better day. I didn't get all of my routine done yesterday either. Their is always today tomorrow and the next day to finish working on it. We have started on it and we are moving forward and making progress, thats whats really important. I find that with the arthritis that I can not do everything in a day and that I have to break it up into several days and that I have to make changes to my routine as I deem necessary. You did great yesterday and so did I. I am very proud of both of us.
