Close to an Attack

I do miss Sunny, her words are like a cool tonic sometimes and you have helped me so much Davit! I know she is busy with the holidays coming. I am glad you got too watch a movie, I saw two that I liked in the last week you may like, one was "Leap Year"  very good family movie, a real feel good movie, the second is "The Fighter" a good movie but very strong language so I dont know about kids watching it, but it was a good movie the acting was wonderful, I try to watch light easy movies.

I am a little nervous today, got some new about a trip my son is going on next month with his class, he will be gone a week! It is making me nervous, trying too calm down, he went two years ago for a few days so it went alright, but I still worry about him and the holidays coming are always stressful, my hubby made the coffee today and I think it was too strong, I make one weak cup a day and it is alright, he meant well, somedays as you know are better than others, more anxiety some, others better.

Trying to stay positive and healthy! There are some good Christmas movies on tonight, may watch to relax and calm down.

Sunny reads even if she is too busy to write. She has family, I don't. Christmas is coming. Everyone is busy now. We barely find time to watch a movie anymore although we did tonight.

Hi Davit,

I am glad you are healing and hope the pain has decreased, once I had an auto accident and hit the windshield and had 25 stitches in my head! So I remember how painful it can be. Thats good you still managed too put 3 hours in the shop, I bet Sunny is a great help! its too bad she cannot walk in the snow, I use to live in Northeastern Ohio {Cleveland} and boy do I remember the snow, but you know I do miss it, especially the change of seasons, the fall colors, and spring, now its hurricanes and heat.

I took a 2 hour nap this evening! Too long but I felt so tired for some strange reason, the weather is cool and damp and drizzly so I hope that is what it is, my knees are hurting and I know you have heard me complain about many many things but my knees never bother me, never till now? My husband mentioned he did not feel well, like he was coming down with something, so I am hoping and praying my son and I do NOT get it, I tried to get lots of rest and Vitamin C, too much OJ I think, tummy is upset but I think its the juice, I drank it so I would feel better but I forget nothing in excess! My bad.

I guess we all better stay warm and dry, tell Sunny I still walked the dogs tonight even through I did not feel well, my two dogs love their walks, I have a german shepard thats very nice and friendly and then we fostered then adopted our pitbull/shepard he is not so friendly but a great watch dog, he was abused very badly and I get so mad when I think about someone doing that too a poor animal, thank God we have him now and he is safe but he can be mean, I know its from the abuse, but he loves us. I am going to try to watch a movie and NOT think about getting sick. I am happy you are better.

I will be taking out the stitches pretty soon. It is healing okay. I heal slow because of prednesone, but just skin. Bones heal okay. My legs are real weak right now but I still managed three hours in my shop. Sunny helped me run some boards through my table saw between doing her things.
Oh yes we have snow. The neighbour plowed out my driveway but it is filling up again. Sunny says the snow when her and the dog go out is knee high so she can't walk the trails or field anymore. They walk the road now. It was very pretty this morning coming down in big flakes. It looks like we will get more. There have been years when there is four feet of settled snow on the ground. Luckily it blows off the roof. Last year the driveway was like a tunnel. Christmas lights look good in the crab apple tree among the snow. We have lights on the chicken house too. I'd like lights on the deck also.
I'm real sore today but not letting it bother me. It will go away.
Stay positive.

Yes Davit I want to have a good weekend! I woke this morning very congested and kind of achy, the weather has been cool damp and rainy and windy, maybe its just that, I drank a little too much OJ too counteract and now my tummy is a little upset, I guess too much of anything is not good, but I am drinking a lot of water to flush out, trying to stay positive and healthy!!

I think I have been taking pretty good care of myself, I have been walking about 30 minutes a day, eating healthy, skinless chicken, baked fish, veggies, and of course OJ and fat-free milk, not sugar or sweets or junk food, and I am only smoking 2 or 3 cigarettes a day, trying to wean down too nothing, if I go cold-turkey, that is bad, I want to do everything to keep my body healthy so my mind stays that way, does that make sense? when I get physically sick I go way down emotionally it seems.

I am going to do everything in my power to have a calm serene healthy weekend! How are you feeling Davit? How is you're hand? I prayed for you, how is the weather up North? snow yet? I would love too see snow again, its soothing and pretty.

Hi Carmie,

Thanks for writing! My leg feels a little better, I walked more the last few days because the weather was so nice and I think I was not use to it, I am going to rest it a little. I can really identify with the chest pain from cold weather, this happens to me too!!

The first time it happened, years ago, it was BEFORE I had this disorder, it got really really cold and I walked really fast down the block and I had middle chest pain for awhile, I think some people get this when the weather gets cold, I guess the lungs have to get use to it, I live in Florida so any cold weather bothers me too, when it gets really cold I feel like I am "allergic" to it, so I can relate, I lived in Ohio for twenty years so you would think I would be use to it, but years of FL must of done it.

I am very nervous today too. Its hitting my stomach really bad, my period is about a week overdue, and I am worried something is wrong or pregnancy {which at my age would be very bad!} then I try to self-talk to myself and tell myself I am in peri-menopause and nothing is "normal" anymore, once I went three months without one and it came back, in peri-menopause everything changes so I have to accept that, there was a time I could "set my watch" every 26 or 27 days, the good old days! It could be you're bra that is causing the problem, when I wear a certain one I get a horrible rash under my breasts, neo-sporin clears it up overnight but the wrong bra could do that, or a little bit of cold weather, I have had both.

I am going to take my pill and do some deep breathing, I have a really bad stomach ache and I do not know why! First my headaches then my leg, now my stomach, will it ever end? or I just have too stop over-reacting to every pain and ache I know. I hate these "nervous-nellie" days and I hate running too the pill bottle, but I guess its better than panicking, one day perhaps I will NOT have to take them. I hope we all have a good weekend! Thank you.

Hi Debora!
I wanted to write because I have been having a little bit of a nervous morning.  It was cold this morning (I am allergic to the cold - isn't that funny!) and I had difficulty breathing during my walk from the car to my office.  So, of course, I was a little nervous about troubles breathing.  I filled out the Advanced Anxious Forms worksheet.  You will likely get a kick out of this...then I was thinking my chest felt tight - but I am fairly certain it is my new bra!  I finally got refitted after losing weight!  Anyway, filled out another anxious thought form for that.  Then I worried because of some spotting I saw when I went to the ladies room.  Nearly had a panic attack over that.  Then I checked the calendar and chances are - I am about to have my monthly.
So this morning, I can relate to trading health fears!  I can tell from your post that you are also questioning anxious thoughts whether you are formally using the worksheet or not.  Blood clots are indeed scary.  Maybe you should call your doctor if it's still bothering you.  That way, you can rule out a clot and can set yourself up to have a really good start to your weekend!

Sometimes I think I trade one fear for another! I was obessing about my medication today but I just decided to wait till my normal time, its only a few hours away and I will be alright, I guess its better than taking too much then I would worry.

My leg is hurting me today and I am trying not too think "blood clot" I had one last year there where it is hurting, then another time I had the pain and had an ultrasound and it was NOT a clot, so I just dont know!? Its like a pully tingling feeling in my calf and ankle, I did walk more than usual yesterday so I am just trying to think I over did it and my leg was not use to it, thats the rational side of my brain talking, blood clots scare me too death, I will just elevate it and keep an eye on it. I really hate too think the worst case sceniro, I hope it goes away, I dont want every little pain to do this too me as Sunny would tell me, hoping rest will help it, just wish it did not hurt right where the problem was last year! Nervous day glad its almost over and tommarow will be better!
