We are experiencing our first rainy day. Usually it only rains at night. In stead of finding the day dreary and depressing we will use the opportunity to put out Cabbage and Cauliflower plants. It has been too hot to do that up till now.

We have also lit the cook stove and are making caraway rye bread. It is going to be toasty and delicious. One thing about living on an acreage is that rainy days get used to rest or catch up on inside stuff. Days when I can't or don't want to I cook and put it in the freezer so I can spend more time outside on the nice days. Besides, nice days I tire myself out and don't want to cook.

Having a piece of strawberry impossible pie and then going outside.
