St John´s wort??

Sadie.

You will have to decide if it is okay to take St Johns Wort. It does react with other medications. and never mix it with an antidepressant. I believe it and another popular herbal (name escapes me) are banned in Canada because of side effects. Personally I would use valerian root instead, or Lemon Balm tea.
There is some thought that it might fall under the class MAO antidepressant even though mild. The only people that I know who have taken it have quit or switched to an anti depressant or mood stabilizer. There should be a 14 day washout period before switching to be on the safe side.

Here for you.

Sadie,
Hopefully you're working with a certified professional.  I took this stuff, and wasted a lot of time and money working with someone who was just preying on me.  In North America, anyone can hang out a shingle and call themselves an expert.
