You will have to decide if it is okay to take St Johns Wort. It does react with other medications. and never mix it with an antidepressant. I believe it and another popular herbal (name escapes me) are banned in Canada because of side effects. Personally I would use valerian root instead, or Lemon Balm tea.
There is some thought that it might fall under the class MAO antidepressant even though mild. The only people that I know who have taken it have quit or switched to an anti depressant or mood stabilizer. There should be a 14 day washout period before switching to be on the safe side.
Hopefully you're working with a certified professional. I took this stuff, and wasted a lot of time and money working with someone who was just preying on me. In North America, anyone can hang out a shingle and call themselves an expert.

i just want to no if anyone has any oppinions on st johns wort herbal remedy? i have been taking it for around 5 weeks now and i think it is helping, its helped me to sleep better also, iv had no side effects at all, they say its like a natural anti depressant.
i no some prescribed drugs can mask anxiety symptoms to can be hard to get rid of anixiety, i dont feel like its masked my syptoms so im still able to deal with situations im in, which i dont think is a bad thing if im going to learn to help myself, is it ok to keep taking them?
