Hi everyone:  Debit I like your adivce and your support.  M, pls. don't give up.  Hang onto our hands, post anything and anytime.  We are listening and here to support you.  I am panic free but when I did have panic attacks I often thought it would never get better and I felt so hopeless and helpless - didn't even know about CBT at the time.  Start from the beginning again, slowly but surely.  I've done the program at least 3-4 times and each time something new pops up that I may have missed before, or it's just that I better understand it.  Keep the faith.

Hi M,
dont give up honey, you still have to live everyday and you only have to do a tiny bit each day for yourself even if it is just something relaxing like read a book or take a bath, if nothing else just pop on here for a friendly ear and some support. dont put expectations on yourself to do anymore than you feel capable of, just be.

Hi Davit,

I am still here, i have not posted for a while but i make sure i log in daily and read the forums and reply to other posts and update my diary, i have not had any attacks since 2 weeks before christmas, but i have had anxious moments, i am still seeing my therepist also, i realise this is not something that gets better overnight and i dont want to just rely on medication to get me through my life even though i am using it for now.
so i am still here and still working on it and i have sort of slowed my program as i am at the exposure section and want to spend lots of time here although i still go back and read other sections.

Now this is probably just me, and it may just be that I have been here a long time. But people come and people go and I have always been curious to know where and why. Did they get better? Did they find it too hard and give up? Did they just decide to do meds and live with their life as it is? Or did they find some magic thing that works for them?

Every day we are bombarded with disturbing things, a lot of them negative. It would be easy to just give up, I know I've been tempted. I'd be doing real well and then the stress load would get real big and I'd want to just throw in the towel. But I'm a very curious person. I have to know how bad it can get. It can get very bad. Not impossible but bad. It can be a lot of work. More work than any one should have to do. So, how much work? Only one way to find out
right. So knowing that I can not be the only person determined to win, and doing it and knowing how hard it can be I wonder, did the missing people get better, are they plugging along on their own or did they give up. What can I say to keep them going. The internet has a bad reputation for false testimonials. Well I'm just a member like the rest, nothing to gain there. I'm not trying to sell you my book.

Just curious is all, I'd like to think every one is doing fine and living happy, but I know panic and I know that is probably not true and I just wonder what more I could do. Till some one tells me or the light goes on, I remain:

Here for you,
Davit.
