Hi Debi,

I am so sorry for your loss.

I am a huge animal lover and when one dies, it is like losing a family member.

I am sending big hugs your way.

Hi Debit

I lost a pet last Easter, he was 19 and I missed him bad, he had become family, they do. I have a 16 year old cat that is on borrowed time and I will miss him very much when he goes. I also have a six year old cat that is such a joy he will take away some of the pain. Grieving only makes you human and is a good thing to do. Theodore is a rescue cat he is here because I care. You might consider this, it would be good for both of you.

Here for you,
Davit

Awwww Debit, I'm so sorry.  I lost two best friends, a beagle terrier mix, and a spaniel within six months of each other.  It's sad, I still miss them.  I have a wonderful dog again.  I only waited a wk. or so to go to the pound.  Not saying it's the answer for you, it was for me.  Seems she needed me as much as I needed her and I always thought the other two would be pleased.  Thinking of you,

Oh Debi, I'm so sorry for your loss... it is hard when a beloved companion animal gets so ill you have to make the life or death decision. Do you know that animals are less traumatized by death than humans are... they are more matter of fact about it.  I'm glad that we are allowed a way to spare them ongoing pain and suffering.  It is a selfless and generous thing to let them go.  The first month or so is awful... always listening for their tags jingling, looking for them when you get home, filling the water dish automatically...  15 years... that's a very long time.  Did you get her when she was a pup?

Tonight i had to put my beautiful 15 year old miniture poodle Molly to sleep, i have been crying now for three hours, i am very upset, she was very ill and the vet said she might not last the night if we brought her home.
I loved her so much

Debi
