you are doing great Anna, today i was on a big exposure and i thought of you and your self talk and did some myself to reassure myself that i could do it, i also kept watching people and the way they moved around freely and went about their days with what seemed ease and that also kept me going

Wooohoooo Anna!  Happy for you.  You are believing.
If you know when your friends are coming over, or when you are going to a gettogether, could you try a relaxation technique before?  Pick the one you like best, or do two of them, whatever.  I still find this one of the best things to do for me.

Handled an attack that would usually take me 30 minutes or require me to completely leave the situation in about 10 minutes and was also able to return to my basketball game and have no further problems. I cannot believe how well self talk works!

Great to hear Anna!  This is a huge achievement!  How will you be celebrating this success?

thats awesome anna! once you take the power away from the panic by knowing that you handle it, it loses all momentum.

Nice work!!

I have been working really hard on self talk the past couple of weeks and it has done amazing things. I no longer fear that I will have a panic attack that I cannot control. I feel almost free. I know I will still have attacks but I can now deal with them and I am just so happy and relieved and all the stress that came with the attacks is gone and I can focus on my studies!
