My Panic Attacks

Anna

That is not an unusual occurrence. If you already have a nervous stomach from some anxiety, food can make it worse.

You said the key to this. You just want to be with your friends! Is there some reason you think you shouldn't be, is some one pressuring you about your friends? People will try to influence you with out considering your feelings. Feelings are tied to emotions (crying). Emotions are tied to core beliefs, both negative and positive. Parents and peers have a lot of influence toward core beliefs. Only you can decide if the core belief is right or wrong. only you can change it if you feel it is wrong.
Why do you think some thing as simple as watching football can be a trigger. Noise, food and other irritants only add to it. Was it the game, or a feeling of guilt because you should be using the time elsewhere. There is one other trigger and that is a core belief that you are too different to fit in. It is usually an unconscious one so not that easy to notice. Just some things to think on.
If you are new to panic believe me when I say it doesn't have to be this way, you can be with your friends.

Family friends are over and watching the football game. I was eating chips and appetizers when a sudden wave of panic hit me. Its been about 45 minutes and I am feeling a little better but still having major symptoms. I feel like I am going to be sick, that is how most of my panic attacks are. I just wanna go be with my friends instead of stuck in my room shaking my hands and crying.
