Hi everyone: I received some lovely gifts but there is one gift in particular I would like to share with you. It came from a grandson in the mail as he lives far away from me. This gift showed me that he observed and listened to me, that he knows me pretty well.
Once upon a time when I was very anxious, I did some puzzles. Not that I particularly like puzzles that much, but they were relaxing and took my mind off things during the winter months. This grandson was only 5 or so when I did them and a few times if I took care of him at my house, he'd sit beside me and help. He's a teen now. This yr. he sent me a puzzle - but not just any puzzle - he sent me one of mountains and a horse and rider on it. Things I love. He loves me and sent me something he remembered that I loved. How very sweet. It warmed my heart a lot.
In the midst of the holiday season, it is interesting to share our favourite holiday gifts that we've given to others or ourselves and/or our favourite gifts that we've received.
1. Every gift I give to children, they always light up and their reaction is priceless
2. A foot spa for my mother, she deserves all the relaxation in the world
3. A professionally done photo of me and my sisters, we gave this to our parents. It was so nice for them to be able to display a photo of their grow up daughters.
