Nisha,

Welcome. Yes it is curable, That depends on how bad you want it and what you call a cure. It is a condition not a disease so it is definitely reversible. Start the program and you should get relief in the first couple of weeks and if you do the whole program diligently there is no reason you won't get cured.

Here for you,

Hi Nisha,

Welcome to the forums!

The symptoms you are experiencing are very common for anxiety and panic attacks. You can definetly manage and eventually even eliminate these symptoms.

Get started with the program. The first part of the program talks about the symptoms you are mentioning, and there is homework at the end to help you start tracking your symptoms and thoughts. Start as soon as possible!

We are here to listen and support you!

Keep posting!

nisha,

Welcome to program and support group...Start reading the program it will help you understand the anxiety and panic you are having and teach you how to control it and not let it control you.  If your physical symptoms are getting worst like you stated with headaches and such it may be time to see your doctor again to rule out a physical cause... like high blood pressure or something else.... I am not a doctor so I can not give you medical advice I can only advice you to see your doctor again.
We are listening and here for you...

@sunny: thnx sunny for d positive response. I wanna tell that earlier d effect used to be on heart. bt now headaches and oder symptoms are also predominant. Is it a part of Panic only dat i feel lack of concentartion and feel like i ll fall from chair or will collapse . Head gets heavy. and when anxiety remains for a long time in head, it turns to headache. And one more thing. Either panic attacks in head or heart...one at a time....not both symptoms together...that is when i ll have a headache coz of anxiety, heart symptoms wont be there and vice versa....
Will it be curable?? Please advice...

Hello nisah:  I apologize, I meant to address the post to you, not micah.  Sunny

Hi Micah:  Yes, I used to get those symptoms.  I used to get a tight chest - almost like a heart attack - and it frightened me a lot too.  I used to get a tight throat as if someone were choking me.  Also lots of dizzy and lightheadedness.  This will pass as you learn the relaxation techniques in the program.  You have to practice them faithfully, every day.  It works!  Try a distraction when you feel these symptoms coming on.  Perhaps you can have a glass of water, sip it very slowly.  This is a form of distraction and you get a bonus of rehydrating yourself at the same time.
Just a suggestion:  I wouldn't drink those high powered drinks at all - and would go easy on the caffeine.  I switched to herbal teas for a few months.

hii everybody out there.

I have recently joined this site. I am facing panic/anxiety from an year almost. I have had all the cardiac tests. My heart is all fine. I have been facing constant anxiety and panic from an year. The panic effects my head or heart. When it affects my head, i feel heavy headed and dizzy as if i will fall or collapse, i feel lack of concentration, feels like i ll fall while sittting on a chair even...and when anxiety stays for more time in head...it results in headache which lasts for days.
And when dis anxiety affects heart, i get raised heartbeats, chest pain, sinking feeling, difficulty in breathing, lump in throat,am not able to speak even...
And this panic keeps on transitioning between head and heart. I can feel the transition. What happens is, suddenly head gets lighter and headache vanishes and problem starts in the heart like unusual heartbeats, difficulty in speaking and chest pain.
I also get loose stomach when i feel extreme anxiety and panic.
Do others also face the same symptoms?? I am extremely worried..please help...
